The Joplin High School Jazz Ensemble is a competitive and audition based group that performs at a myriad of venues. In previous years the Jazz Ensemble has split into two ensembles. Previous performances include Jazz at the Junction, Pittsburg University Jazz Festival, and the Greater St. Louis Jazz Festival. The Jazz Ensemble has also performed locally at Joplin’s Third Thursday festivals, Northpark Mall, and other Joplin venues.
